You can tell your own insecurities and internal conversations based off of how you assume others are thinking of you or defining their actions or lack of actions or glances per your perceptions. If you are consistently assuming the worst, then you have to take a deep hard look into your own self…your perceptions, the negativity that dwells around you, the criticism that you project (yes really, think about it honestly), your opinions, your standards you hold others to or expectations that are erroneous, the self-condemnation you battle and so forth. Because you view the world through your lens doesn’t mean that your lens isn’t a bit dirty. Quit assuming the worst in others and that is how they see you. It’s time to step up and give the benefit of doubt. It’s time for you to recognize your own challenges and start reaching out for help in those areas. It’s time to shift to building and helping people up. It’s time to see the best in others and not focus on the perceived worst. It’s time to see them through the Father’s eyes and love in spite of. It’s time to quit living in fear of being used or taken advantage of because of past experiences. You have to truly question whether or not you’re being taken advantage of or being used if you’re not actually giving to that person but instead the Father. That’s hard either way. But in reality, we are to continue to bless them regardless. See the best, give them the benefit, recognize that weird things can happen, and a look can simply be the reaction to someone accidentally biting their tongue when they were looking in your direction…it was not a look of disgust or judgement toward you…they were in pain and didn’t even see you. Let’s work this out. Let’s help one another. Let’s quit assuming others should know. Let’s quit projecting the blame on others. Let’s walk in humility. Sometimes asking for help is the humility necessary to accept it.
“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust” Matthew 5:44-45.
