Insincerity

How many times have we been so caught up with the flow of things? Sit back and think about it. How often do we go to church services and just come in, fellowship, sit down, prep for Worship, sing the words, sit down, give offering, and listen to the sermon? Not much other than the fellowship was done with heart…most of the time, not all the time that is. But seriously look at it, reflect, and know that we are all guilty of this. Do you realize that we gave the Father insincere worship? All of what we do and are is to be Worship to the Father. So, what’s so terrible about this, hey I mean we were there, and we were doing our weekly routine right?! Well routine might be the problem because we get so used to a schedule that allows for us to go through the motions without thought, but further, insincerity is what’s so terrible. Did you know that insincerity is dishonesty, hypocrisy, artificial, fake, phony, pretend, counterfeit and so on? You might as well come and say what it really is…a lie. We are lying to the Father and those around us when we are not doing it in entirety of our heart, mind, and soul.
We need to become conscious of what we are doing, and now is the time for this shift. We have been put in a place of self-exploration while blaming others and the church itself, and maybe the Father, or the enemy, but eventually, I hope, we recognize the consistent variable in the whole process…us. If we want change, if we want things to feel normal, if we want to feel again or at all, if we want to be drawn to the Father again, if we are tired of being starved to death, and no longer thirst after righteousness, but know we should, if we want to be aware of things, to become once again, then we have to step up and move to this. We must repent for our insincerity that allowed us to come to the depth of heartache and feeling of death within. We must repent for the judgments toward others for our own stuff, as it is our own responsibility regardless of what others do, recognize the victim mentality that it is not how we get up, repent. Repent, repent, repent, and know that we must take a different step, we must think differently, we must see us, not others, not for selfish gain, but for healing. This is up to us to do; it has always been. We’re old enough to walk, then get up and walk. We can eat, so cut our own food and quit looking for someone else to chop it up for us. We can’t eat unless we choose to, quit looking for someone to force feed us when we don’t want it. All in all, it is up to us to begin the process forward and realize that our personal relationship with the Father, is personal for a reason and is not a group relationship, no other person, leadership or not is responsible for how our relationship with the Father is.

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth” John 4:23-24.

“And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might” Deuteronomy 6:5.
