We cannot keep looking for handouts…we have to move to the mindset of handing out. I did not, nor did you, take a vow of poverty. I did, however, come from a place of poverty, but those are two different things. To remain in a poverty mindset indicates a comfort to suffering and not having vision. It puts us in a place of wishful thinking or impossibilities and no hope versus knowing that the Father has a place beyond a specific circumstance creating great possibilities. When you know whos you are, then you become aware of these possibilities. Our job is not to worry but to seek the Father. Where is your mindset?
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil thereof” Matthew 6:33-34.
“But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” Hebrews 11:6.
“But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” I Peter 2:9.
“A good [man] leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner [is] laid up for the just” Proverbs 13:22.
