Do you have confidence? Confidence is “the feeling or belief that one can rely on someone or something; firm trust” (Oxford Dictionary). In other words, faith, literal trust in the Father. When we know Him, we trust Him, when we trust Him, we know things are. Simply, because we have salvation, we choose Him, then our households are saved. Grab it with confidence in knowing that the Father has spoken it and then profess it with a strength within your soul, your spirit and your body, not hoping, but knowing that this is so. Repeat after me: Going into today with a confidence in knowing that because of my life choices, our household’s choices to serve the Lord, all of our children are saved, all of those we claim as family know salvation, and know the favor of the Lord. ~Now give the Father a praise as if you have seen it already done…because it is!
“And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house” Acts 16:31.
“And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard [us]: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul. And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought [us], saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide [there]. And she constrained us” Acts 16:14-15.
“Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD” Joshua 24:14-15.
“And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. Behold, God [is] my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH [is] my strength and [my] song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this [is] known in all the earth. Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great [is] the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee” Isaiah 12:1-6.
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them].” Mark 11:23-24.
“But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” Hebrews 11:6.
