Wisdom

Don’t take a family members distance as a form of rejection, but rather the fulfillment of a calling that requires aloneness to explore self at a depth that is necessary for removing, uprooting, shifting, healing, renewing, restoring, and new growth. It’s not selfish for someone to spend time with the Father. Don’t take it personal. Instead, cheer for them, want the best for them, see them emerge from the cocoon as the butterfly they were changing into all along. Don’t be someone who sees their process as them being selfish, when in fact you’re more concerned about how it affects you. Stop for a moment and think about the sacrifice it takes for them to endure in order to selflessly be used by the Father for the sake of others. Don’t judge someone else’s progress as a form of selfishness when you’re too busy running from yours.

“Servants, obey in all things [your] masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: And whatsoever ye do, do [it] heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ” Colossians 3:22-24.
