Because one has determined what is right within their own mind, doesn’t mean it is correct. We have come to a place in this day and time where we seek our own thoughts over the Word of God, we have even justified our own thoughts, perverted the truth behind the Word to fit what we feel and think versus what we know and should seek to change to. See it has come to the place where we have decided that we need the Word to fit us when it was intended for us to shift to fit it. Let’s examine ourselves so we are not guilty of this type of processing. Seek the Father, His Spirit, His Word, not our mind, or support of those around us…for being a leader often times means standing alone or with few…followers tend to be the masses.
“Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart” Psalms 26:2.
“But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of [that] bread, and drink of [that] cup” I Corinthians 11:28.
“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?” II Corinthians 13:5.
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” Romans 12:1-2.
“For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled” Matthew 5:18.
“And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail” Luke 16:17.
