So many of us have been hurt by someone and we still see that hurt even if we don’t feel it. We remember how they failed us somehow, or, how they didn’t fulfill the need or expectation we had for them…I mean it was their job right?! Well, no one is looking at the other side that during our hurt, what did we do? How did we treat them? How much did they put up with? And then we wonder why when we explode or choose to walk away, they don’t do anything more, but we reflect poorly on them…? Humm maybe it’s time to see what we did in our hurt, in our immaturity, in our error and be just as critical as we have been to them at our own actions. Maybe then we can see how the judgements and the unrealistic expectations were actually erroneous. It’s time we own that!
“For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again” Matthew 7:2.
“Who can understand [his] errors? Cleanse thou me from secret [faults]” Psalms 19:12.
