A Cat, a Pig, and a Dog Walk into the House….

Nothing new here! This just happened this morning, LOL! For one, the Cat isn’t supposed to come in, but is the first one to dart in. The Pig thinks she gets a treat for coming in, like she is training me or something to tell her good job and give her a treat for coming in. Then the elderly little Dog hobbles up the stairs to just bring up the tail end of the little line of animals. They all have their purposes. The Cat hunts and keeps mice from coming into the house…I just wish he could add flies to his list of critters! I have determined it is the elderly Dog’s job to test my patience…or to see how badly I need more patience…NO I DID NOT ASK FOR PATIENCE!!!! LOL!!! She takes forever to come in the house even when she barks to notify me, she is done pottying. The Pig, well she doesn’t really have a purpose other than to be my pet, my grand-piggy, that I take care of for our daughter, lol. She really is a good pig, but I think she is here to test my husband’s patience, lol and to never ever say yes to a pet that serves no purpose other than being our daughter’s, my, pet that acts like what it is.
There’s no point here, just smile, enjoy the hiccups in your day that redirect you to focus on something different. Learn to roll with it and not let it destroy your day. Recognize that even if it is a creature, a child, or something else, that God has a way of shifting us, testing us, and our response reveals some changes we need to make. See, if we are so set and have rigorously planned out how things should be, that if something doesn’t align and we freak out, then how can we do something so radical in obedience at any given moment for the Father? Look at it as a growth area, lol! Smile and let things be as they will. Consistency doesn’t mean predictability…it simply means that our foundation is set, and our principles are fixed, and we can do anything imaginable when those things are established.
